The credit card details left by the guest or the virtual card details of the online sales channel can be viewed directly in the Hotel Sync system, within the reservation window, by clicking the "Show CC" button.
When you click the "Show CC" button, a password prompt window will appear. Note: Unless configured otherwise, the password for viewing the credit card details is the same as the main admin account password.
If needed, password can be changed through All Settings > General Settings > Credit Card Settings. More about how to change password for viewing credit card, see here.
If forget your credit card password, you can reset it by changing the login password for the main admin account and then resetting the new credit card password.
You can also see the card data through the booking window in the mobile application.
⚠️ Important: You can view the card details multiple timer, however, the CVC code can only be viewed once. After it is revealed, it cannot be accessed again, so please, make sure to remember it or complete the payment immediately on the POS terminal.
If you are using our payment processor, do not reveal the CVC code, as doing so will prevent the processor from completing the transaction.
If the reservation is cancelled, the "Show CC" button will remain active, as well as the "Invoice" button for creating an invoice. So you can charge the guest for late cancellation or no-show and charge the given credit card according to the reservation rules.
