Connecting the Expenses Module with the Property Management Module
The Property Management module allows you to track payments to and from apartment owners, as well as expenses associated with each apartment. To do this, all expenses should be recorded through the Expenses module.
For instructions on how to activate and configure the Expenses module, click here.
Important: When adding expenses, make sure to assign each expense to the correct room type/unit and select the appropriate expense category. This allows the Property Management module to allocate expenses correctly to the relevant report categories.
If you want to keep track of payments made to apartment owners, create an expense and assign it to the Payment for owner category.
All other expenses selected from the available list and assigned to a room type and unit included in the Property Management module will be classified as Operational Expenses. (Exception: Expenses assigned to the Equipment and Furniture category are excluded from Property Management report calculations.)
