Room Price Genie - revenue management

RoomPriceGenie is an automated revenue management system built to simplify pricing decisions for hotels. Instead of manually adjusting room rates based on demand, the platform analyzes historical data, market trends, occupancy levels, and competitor pricing to automatically recommend optimal room rates.

In HotelSync settings, choose Marketplace and activate RoomPriceGenie.

The first option, "I have account details", is if you opened an account directly on RoomPriceGenie platform. You can find more information and contact details at the following link https://roompricegenie.com/pricing/. Payments will be made directly to RoomPriceGenie. While you are creating your account, inform their support that you will use integration with the HotelSync PMS. This means that you won't need to insert room types to their platform manually, since it will be imported automatically from HotelSync. Make sure to request from their support to send you the following codes, which you will fill in the RoomPriceGenie option in Marketplace: Client ID, Client secret key and Property ID. You would also need to choose one pricing plan through which you will connect with RoomPriceGenie rates.

After that, you just need to click on "Push data" button. This button will appear only when you fill out all other data in this window.

The second option, "Register to use", will open a form which you can fill out and register to use RoomPriceGenie through HotelSync client account. In this case, we will contact you with a special discounted offer for our clients, and if accepted, we will open an account for you and finish the connection.

Once you click on "Push data" button, details about your room types will be copied to Room Price Genie. After that, you should go through the "Pricing strategy" options on RoomPriceGenie platform and fill in some basic details of how you would like the algorithms to work: Base, Minimum and Maximum price; variations between room types; Target Occupancy; Median Booking Window; Lead Time Adjustments, etc.

Once you set your strategies, you can also choose from calendar options for when and how prices will be imported to HotelSync. This can be set to be automatically done daily, even several times a day, or it can be set to be done manually when you decide to push prices to HotelSync.

Prices will be copied to HotelSync calendar to the pricing plan you chose when connecting with RoomPriceGenie (HotelSync - Marketplace). If you are using that pricing plan as the base plan for connecting with online sales channels, when prices are changed in HotelSync, normally they will also be immediately changed on online sales channels as well.
