When creating a room type, a standard price is entered. The entered price is automatically valid for all periods for which a different price has not been defined via the Prices and restrictions option or directly through the Pricing plan.
If you subsequently change the price in one of these two ways, that change has priority over the standard price defined in the room settings. This means that a later change in the standard price will not be reflected in the periods for which the price has already been specifically defined, but only in future periods for which there were no previous changes.
Recommendation: To regularly change and update prices, use the tools provided, not through the room type settings. We recommend one of the following methods:
